Salary & Benefits

• Engineer: $4,000 - $12,000 (Based on Experience and Qualifications)

• Technician: $2,000 - $7,000 (Based on Experience and Qualifications)

• Fixed Allowance: $350/month

• Mid-Year Bonus

• Yearly Variable Bonus: 1-2 months’ salary

• 12 hours shift

• 5 rest days within one 15-day shift cycle

• Direct Contract with Government: 1-year with the possibility of extension

• Additional Perks: Company shuttle bus provided

Engineer Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project consultants and key stakeholders, including government agencies, to design various facilities, ensuring construction adheres to specifications and statutory requirements.

• Participate in the testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, process, and automation systems.

• Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) both locally and internationally to verify the quality and performance of major equipment/systems.

Technician Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of technical specialists, coordinating maintenance work between contractors and maintenance sections for the safe and efficient operation of the waste-to-energy facility.

• Implement preventive maintenance and overhaul programs for electrical and control equipment, including turbo-generators, motors, and switchgears.

• Administer contracts for mechanical and building services equipment operations and maintenance.

• Enforce a permit-to-work system and promote a culture of safety, supervising contractors to ensure quality and safety standards.

• Assist in creating standard operating procedures and equipment testing/changeover programs.

• Be prepared to perform shift work in a waste-to-energy facility as needed.

• Collaborate with engineers to implement safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance operational excellence.

Requirements: 

• Diploma in Engineering or Nitec in Engineering.

• Diploma Holders: Preferably 3 years of relevant experience.

• Nitec Holders: Preferably 6-8 years of relevant experience.

• Certifications: Preference for candidates with professional certifications such as Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, or Workplace Safety Health Officer.

• Strong technical background with excellent analytical skills; knowledge of solid waste management is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Navisworks and Primavera P6 is a plus.
