Responsibilities

• Define the global capacity-planning systems architecture and analytical processes, ensuring standardised factory capacity models in a unified platform.
• Develop and implement capacity-scheduling optimisation models using linear programming and theory-of-constraints principles.
• Maintain accurate capacity-modelling data, including routings, asset lists, UPH baselines, and throughput improvements.
• Lead capacity-planning activities within the S&OP cycle, ensuring timely alignment with unconstrained demand and monitoring capacity risks across sites.
• Oversee full documentation and lifecycle management of manufacturing assets, including equipment, hardware, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and conversion kits.
• Partner with factories to define, validate, and execute capacity-expansion programs aligned with demand requirements.
• Optimise factory network performance by balancing capacity, demand loading, and asset utilisation.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineering teams on long-range labour-capacity modelling and headcount planning to support future demand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related supply chain disciplines.
• More than 10 years of manufacturing supply chain experience, including industrial engineering, demand planning, and capacity planning.
• More than 5 years in leadership roles with demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills in fast-changing environments.
• Proven experience in capacity planning within semiconductor, high-tech, or manufacturing/engineering sectors.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor production processes, manufacturing workflows, and lead times.
• Knowledge of statistics, forecasting techniques, and management information methodologies.
• Experience with SAP systems such as SAP IBP, S/4HANA, or ECC, or similar technologies supporting efficient operations.
• Background in building capacity and forecasting models, performing complex analyses, and generating accurate insights.
• Strong IT and analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency and the ability to learn new software tools quickly.
