Location: Kaki Bukit
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.45pm
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Up to S$3,000 (Depending on Experience)

About the Role

My client is an engineering company serving global clients in the semiconductor, automation, and industrial equipment sectors. They are seeking a motivated Assistant Engineer (Junior) to join their Production Department, where you will play a key role in hands-on machine installation, assembly, and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers and Technicians in machine installation, setup, and integration.

• Perform mechanical assembly of components and sub-modules based on engineering drawings and work instructions.

• Support testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of machines prior to delivery.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues during assembly or installation.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and company SOPs.

• Maintain accurate records of assembly progress, installation activities, and component traceability.

Requirements

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related engineering fields.

• 1–3 years of experience in production assembly, equipment installation, or machine maintenance (fresh graduates welcome to apply).

• Able to interpret mechanical drawings and use basic measurement tools.

• Hands-on aptitude with tools and mechanical components.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Physically fit and comfortable working in a production or cleanroom environment.
