Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and oversee the company’s annual business plan and policies.
Drive company-wide strategic initiatives that ensure sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Liaise with internal departments and HQ through meetings related to Generator Sets and other engine products.
Formulate and implement mid-term improvement plans to enhance organizational efficiency and employee engagement.
Serve as the primary approving authority for key matters including order management, HR, finance, and procurement.
Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop heads of departments to ensure business objectives are met and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations is maintained.
Champion workplace safety initiatives with the objective of achieving zero accidents.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in senior executive and regional management roles within the power generation, engine systems, or related industrial equipment industry.
Solid knowledge of accounting, engine and generator products, and QA/QC processes.
Demonstrated experience in strategic coordination and policy alignment with Japan HQ and regional subsidiaries to ensure seamless business integration.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop staff.
Proven ability to make sound judgments and take timely, effective decisions.
Business-level proficiency in English.
Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) for effective communication with HQ executives, regional subsidiaries, and Japanese customers.
Deep understanding of Japanese culture, corporate governance, quality standards, and decision-making practices, with the ability to bridge communication between HQ and local teams.
Excellent networking skills.
Willingness to travel internationally.
Prior experience in a company within the power generation or engine systems sector.
