Senior Engineer / Assistant Engineer (Cable & Sub-Module) - #1127571

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Management to understand requirements for new and ongoing projects.

• Manage engineering and technical activities from initial concept to completion of manufacturing lots.

• Lead and guide the engineering team to meet project and company objectives.

• Conduct product evaluations for new and existing products.

• Monitor progress of first articles and first-lot manufacturing runs.

• Select suitable manufacturing equipment for production needs.

• Prepare, update, maintain, and file all engineering documentation (e.g., technical specs, drawings, BOM, ECN, MDR, COC).

• Ensure accuracy and completeness in all engineering documents.

• Chair new product release meetings.

• Assist relevant departments in preparing new customer quotations.

• Ensure smooth and accurate knowledge transfer to production teams.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency.

• Provide engineering support to Business Development, Purchasing, and Production teams.

• Provide customer support where required, including local or overseas travel.

• Execute corrective actions promptly and ensure preventive actions are enforced.

• Conduct product training for new staff.

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, UL, IPC).

• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electronic/Electrical Engineering.

• Senior Engineer: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

• Assistant Engineer: 2–3 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

• Familiarity with IPC, UL, SEMI F47, and ISO standards is preferred.

• Good ability to multi-task.

• Results-oriented, cost-conscious, and able to react quickly to technical issues.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

• Senior Engineer: Up to $4,700 – $5,000 + Variable Bonus

• Assistant Engineer: Up to $2,700 – $3,000 + Variable Bonus

Time: Mon-Fri (8 am – 5.30 pm)
