Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under Electricity Acts, SS638, SS650, and company HSSE policies.
• Conduct inspection and testing of electrical installations and certify safety for operation.
• Gather necessary information and submit applications for electrical installation licenses to EMA.
• Prepare and submit reports, maintenance records, updated single-line diagrams, and other relevant documentation to EMA.
• Maintain quality standards and adherence to electrical statutory requirements.
• Oversee competency of electrical workers through proper training and supervision.
• Manage and maintain a competency management system for all employees.

Requirements

• Min. Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Electrical Worker (appropriate grade) issued by Energy Market Authority.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience, preferably in petrochemical or oil & gas industries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
• Skilled in HS220OP Safe Use of Portable Electrical Equipment.
• Knowledge of industry standards, DEPs, electrical safety rules, local legislation, and relevant international codes.
• Familiarity with Bukom Electrical Safety Rules (MNT_ELEC-5002OP) and ability to attain Competent Electrical Person (Contractor) authorization.
• Competency in zero voltage verification and understanding of arc flash risk and mitigation.
