Primary Classroom Teacher (International Settings) - #1127392

Our client, a reputable international school, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Classroom Teacher to join their Junior School team (Year 3–6). This role is ideal for educators who thrive in a diverse learning environment and are passionate about inspiring young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive, engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, reflection, and continuous learning.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive lessons tailored to diverse learner needs, including EAL students.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues and parents to support student growth and success.

• Arrange and maintain an attractive, well-organised classroom aligned with school guidelines.

• Organise meaningful learning experiences, including outdoor learning and educational trips.

• Assess, track, and report on student progress and behaviour, providing constructive feedback and setting goals.

• Lead class assemblies, grade-level performances, and contribute to the school’s extracurricular programmes (ECAs).

• Provide pastoral care to ensure the well-being, safety, and positive behaviour of students.

• Participate in staff meetings, school events, workshops, and professional development initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in an international school setting.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Education with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE/PGCEi/NIE Diploma/QTS).

• Experience supporting EAL learners.

• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum is an advantage.

• Experience in inquiry-based learning and teaching across key subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, or Creative Arts.
