Electrical Technician (Power Plant) - #1127384

Responsibilities

·       Carry out routine and maintenance programme of all electrical equipment

·       Perform rectification of faults on the electrical systems

·       Assisting engineers in carrying out switching and isolation of low voltage equipment

·       Monitoring and control of contract workers to ensure compliance with technical specifications,

·       code of practice, scope to work and to enforce safety regulations

·       Inspections and acceptance of purchased materials and contract spares

·       Updating of maintenance records

·       Co-ordination of work with other sections

·       Repairing faulty electrical instruments and tools

·       Reporting unsafe conditions/ near miss incidents for rectification

Requirements

•         Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

•         Minimum 0 to 3 years of relevant working experience in maintenance electrical in power or process plants environment

•         Experience in Power / Process Plant operations will be advantageous
