Facilities and Maintenance Technician - #1127354

We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities and Maintenance Technician to keep our production plant and office running smoothly. This role combines equipment upkeep, building maintenance, and basic electrical troubleshooting. You’ll be the person who ensures the site stays safe, functional, and in good working order every day.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance

• Perform routine servicing and basic repair of production equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and escalate when specialised work is needed

• Support installation, setup, and relocation of equipment

Facility Upkeep

• Carry out general handyman work such as repairing fixtures, replacing fittings, minor carpentry

• Handle painting, patching, and upkeep of walls and surfaces

• Manage basic plumbing fixes, leaks, and drain clearing

• Maintain cleanliness and order of plant infrastructure areas

Electrical Support

• Perform simple electrical troubleshooting and replacement of switches, lights, sockets

• Assist with safe electrical work under supervision of a licensed electrician when required

Site Operations Support

• Conduct routine inspections around the plant and office

• Coordinate with external vendors for specialised repairs

• Respond to urgent maintenance issues promptly

• Maintain logs, checklists, and preventive maintenance records

Requirements

• Experience in facility maintenance, handyman work, or equipment servicing

• Basic electrical knowledge preferred

• Good problem-solving ability and initiative

• Comfortable working in both production and office environments

• Ability to carry out physical tasks when needed
