NPI Engineer - #1127301

Our client is seeking a NPI Engineer to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

• Lead NPI activities: Spearhead and manage all new product introduction initiatives within the plant, ensuring smooth transitions from concept to production.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and headquarters to coordinate product introductions, including packaging solutions.

• BOM expertise: Apply your knowledge to create and modify bill of materials structures for assembly processes, optimizing production efficiency.

• System proficiency: Utilize your expertise in Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems and SAP maintenance to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

• Server & rack assembly: Leverage your understanding of server and rack assembly processes to improve manufacturing procedures and product quality.

• Packaging innovation: Contribute to rack packaging design, developing creative solutions that ensure product safety and customer satisfaction.

• Continuous improvement: Lead and participate in Kaizen activities, driving operational excellence and process optimization.

• Production support: Provide valuable assistance to production teams during mass runs, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output.

• Quality assurance: Actively participate in internal and external ISO audits, maintaining compliance and upholding industry standards.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational background: Degree or Diploma in Engineering discipline, coupled with a passion for manufacturing and innovation.

• Manufacturing experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, bringing practical insights to the role.

• Problem-solving prowess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges in product introduction and manufacturing processes.

• Independent worker: Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

• Project management skills: Excellent project management abilities to coordinate multiple NPI activities and stakeholders effectively.
