Job Summary

The Programme Executive is responsible for working closely with key stakeholders to plan, organize and implement programmes and activities for the centre’s clients, manage volunteers and conduct needs and outcome assessment to measure and enhance programme relevance and effectiveness to bring about quality service and standards

Roles and Responsibilities

1.      Programme and Events Management

a. To work in consultation with the Centre Head to plan, organize and execute programmes and activities relevant and beneficial for the various age groups and profiles of clients served

b. To be the main liaison person to communicate and work with stakeholders such as organisations, vendors and volunteers, to bring in appropriate programmes that meet the needs of clients

c. To take lead in coordinating, supporting, executing and providing the oversight to centre’s planned events and programmes

d. Conduct periodic needs and outcome assessment to evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of key programmes towards service enhancement

2. Volunteers and Partners Management

a. To recruit, manage, train and work closely with volunteers and ensure they abide by the guidelines set by the centre in protecting the interest of the clients

b. To develop and maintain a good database of volunteers and programmes

c. To coordinate the screening of volunteers with MSF

d. To network, collaborate and represent the centre as and when needed, in any events or fundraising initiatives

3. Others

a. To perform any other administrative duties.

b. Attend staff meetings, relevant training and conferences as required.

4. Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Centre Director


Job Specification

  • Diploma in Social Service / Social Work or relevant experience

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in events, programmes and volunteers’ management

  • Mature and keen interest in working with families and children

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to relate well with clients and partners.

  • Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.

  • Able to make presentations
