The Senior / Sales Manager (Leisure) is responsible for driving revenue performance across all leisure segments, with a strong focus on OTA production, general leisure travel accounts, group leisure business, and cruise-related partnerships. This role requires a commercially driven sales professional who can balance digital distribution strategy with proactive account management and market development.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Proactively target, manage and grow a portfolio of travel agencies, tour operators, group leisure or MICE Leisure extension business, and FIT partners.
Build annual account plans to drive production and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Conduct regular sales calls, training sessions, and joint marketing initiatives.
Identify new partners, markets, and distribution opportunities to expand reach
Respond to group enquiries, prepare proposals, lead negotiations, and close business.
Work closely with Events and Revenue teams to ensure accurate inventory, pricing, and space allocations.
Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations to ensure a unified commercial approach.
Monitor conversion rates and develop strategies to improve win ratios for group leisure segments.
Stay ahead of trends in OTA distribution, global leisure travel, cruise markets, and group travel patterns.
Analyse the competitive landscape and adjust strategies to maintain market share.
Recommend new packages, promotions, and commercial opportunities based on data insights.
Partner with Marketing to enhance visibility and storytelling across leisure channels.
Work closely with Front Office, Reservations, and Operations to ensure seamless execution for leisure guests and groups.
Qualifications
BA degree in Business from a reputable university or any related field
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in similar position in hospitality industry
Applicants with strong exposure to OTA, leisure, or group leisure segments will be an added advantage
Proven success in managing OTA portals, travel trade partners, and group travel business.
In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices
Familiarity with digital distribution tools is an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple segments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
