The prospective incumbent is required to perform technical drawings with project coordination while also handling commercial or administrative tasks related to project management and documentation.
Responsibilities
Drafting & Technical Support:
Prepare, revise and update technical drawings using AutoCAD
Create drawings, layout plans, and details based on site requirements & design intent
Maintain organized drawing records and ensure version control for all documents
Project Administration & Coordination:
Coordinate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to discuss drawing details and project updates
Maintain commercial terms agreements, sales targets, ensuring that all databases are updated on an ongoing basis
Assist with project documentation, including progress reports & submissions
Manage and maintain project filing systems
Site Support:
Provide on-site support, such as coordinating with site teams, managing administrative tasks, and assisting with procurement
Help with quantity take-offs and cost estimations for materials
Assist in preparing tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities
General Duties:
Perform any other assigned duties to support the project team's needs
Requirements
Possess Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or equivalent
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in solar energy environment
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
Strong understanding of technical drawings and construction standards
Good coordination and communication skills
Knowledgeable in handling commercial documentation
Familiarity with local project submission procedures is preferred
