Key Responsibilities

Full Set of Accounts (Overseas Subsidiary)

• Handle the complete set of accounts for an overseas subsidiary.

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) invoices and employee claims via the online system, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and resolving any discrepancies with vendors or internal stakeholders.

• Prepare payments for invoices and claims according to the scheduled payment cycle or as needed for urgent payments.

• Issue Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices promptly upon receiving required documentation from internal teams.

• Monitor and follow up with customers on overdue AR invoices to ensure timely collection.

• Maintain and update the cashbook daily, oversee cashflow and forecasting, and prepare cash utilization reports for group submission.

• Perform month-end closing activities, including bank reconciliations and accrual entries.

• Prepare audit schedules for assigned accounts and support annual audit activities.

• Compile and submit quarterly VAT reports.

• Review and address outstanding accounting items such as Goods Received/Invoice Received (GRIR) discrepancies.

• Register new vendors and customers in accordance with internal SOPs.

• Respond to VAT-related queries and perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned.

Other Accounting Support (Singapore Entities)

• Prepare ad-hoc payments and fund transfers for Singapore entities as required.

• Assist in preparing month-end AP reclassification entries for Singapore entities.

Job Requirements

• Diploma, LCCI, or ACCA Foundation level qualification or higher.

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Experience in SAP is an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and overseas vendors.

• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and patient, with strong organizational abilities.
