Drone Assembly Technician | Up to $2800 | Boon Lay #5252 - #1127016

Duration: 6months contract (Extendable)

Salary: Up to $2800

Working location: Boon Lay

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble drones and sub-assemblies (frames, motors, wiring, sensors, payloads) following technical drawings and work instructions

• Solder and route electrical wiring; install and calibrate flight controllers, GPS and communication modules

• Conduct functional tests (bench and flight) to verify performance and quality

• Diagnose and repair mechanical or electronic issues during production and after testing

• Maintain accurate build records, inventory usage and quality documentation

• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to implement design updates and continuous improvements

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, ESD (electrostatic discharge) and clean-room protocols where required

• Any other matters assigned by Management

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Higher Nitec / Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Aerospace Engineering (or other relevant technical field)

• 1- 2 years of experience in drone assembly roles will be an advantage

• Candidate without experience may apply as training will be provided

• Possess basic soldering skills, knowledge of crimping techniques, and familiarity with assembly tools

• Relevant certifications or training in drones

• Familiarity with tools such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, or flight configuration software

• Familiarity with aircraft systems, including multi-rotor and fixed-wing hybrid designs
