About the role

Join the dynamic team at Proskill Workforce Pte Ltd as a Resident Technical Officer (M&E) in the Woodlands North Region. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects through meticulous oversight and technical expertise.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive inspections and testing of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems to verify compliance with relevant codes, regulations and specifications

• Liaising with contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure the timely completion of projects

• Preparing detailed reports documenting inspection findings, and recommending corrective actions as needed

• Participating in the review of shop drawings, method statements and other technical submissions

• Monitoring construction progress and providing progress updates to the project management team

• Assisting with the commissioning and handover of M&E systems to clients

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the construction lifecycle

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer or Site Supervisor in the construction industry

• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems, including familiarity with relevant codes, standards and regulations

• Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and other construction documents

• Proficient in using relevant software tools for project tracking, reporting and documentation

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
