Field Specialist (Autonomous Vehicle Deployment) - #1126578

Our client is at the forefront of transforming airside operations through the adoption of autonomous vehicle (AV) technologies.  As part of our automation roadmap, we are partnering with leading AV providers to deploy cutting-edge technology to enhance productivity and safety on the airside.

Contract period: 1 year (Renewable) with bonus
Work location: Changi
Work Hours: 5 days   

Responsibilities:
Autonomous Vehicle Deployment:

• Coordinate the on-site testing and deployment of autonomous baggage tractors and ensure the safe and efficient integration of autonomous vehicles into day-to-day airport operations.

• Conduct testing and validation of autonomous systems in partnership with technical and operational teams.

Process Redesign:

• Work with operational teams to redesign workflows to accommodate autonomous vehicle operations, ensuring alignment with safety and efficiency standards.

• Document and implement new processes, providing clear guidelines for all stakeholders.

Change Management:

• Engage with airport authorities, ground handling staff, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth adoption of autonomous systems

• Lead change management process on ground, ensuring process compliance and resolving potential bottlenecks

• Address concerns, manage resistance to change, and ensure effective communication throughout the transition process.

• Conduct training sessions to familiarise teams with redesigned workflows and new technologies.

Infrastructure Coordination:

• Oversee infrastructure adjustments to support autonomous vehicle operations, such as establishing charging stations and modifying traffic flows.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, airport authorities and other key stakeholders to deliver infrastructure projects on schedule.

• Other adhoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering field

• Relevant experience in Autonomous Vehicle Deployment

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Familiarity with change management and infrastructure adjustments is advantageous
