Buyer/ Senior Buyer (Electronic Products Distributor) - #1126572

Responsibilities

Purchasing and Order Processing

• Execute end-to-end purchasing activities including RFQs, price comparison, PO creation, order tracking, and delivery follow-up.

• Ensure PO accuracy, pricing correctness, and adherence to lead times.

• Work closely with suppliers to confirm orders, expedite shipments, and resolve delays.

• Identify and qualify materials.

Supplier Coordination

• Coordinate with existing suppliers on quotations, delivery schedules, and quality-related issues.

• Identify and qualify potential suppliers.

• Maintain strong working relationships to support consistent supply performance.

• Assist in evaluating suppliers through performance tracking (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness).

Inventory and Material Flow Support

• Work with warehouse and planning teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid stock-outs.

• Monitor inventory movement and support replenishment planning.

Cost and Documentation Management

• Maintain updated price lists, purchasing records, and supplier databases.

• Support cost comparison, invoice matching, and reconciliation with finance.

• Ensure all procurement documents comply with internal procedures and ISO requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

• At least 6 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in purchasing electronic components and commodities.

• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).

• Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Must have regional experience.
