KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Leadership and Management

  • Lead, supervise, and manage the Examination Administration department to ensure smooth operations.

  • Provide guidance, training, and support for staff development.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and align departmental goals.


Examination Administration

  • Oversee scheduling, preparation, and administration of assessments and exams.

  • Uphold examination integrity, act as Senior / Chief Invigilator, and manage invigilator recruitment, training, deployment, and payroll.

  • Provide support for students with special requirements.


Results and Assessment Management

  • Oversee marking, moderation, and results release processes.

  • Ensure accuracy of results, proper gradebook setup, and timely communication of results to students and stakeholders.

  • Manage assessment feedback and appeals processes.


Academic Status & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate academic status records and manage appeals.

  • Coordinate audits and reviews related to assessment processes.

  • Implement process improvements for operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.


Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

  • Liaise with academic staff, departments, and external stakeholders.

  • Prepare reports, analyse trends, and recommend improvements.

  • Align assessment practices with institutional objectives.



JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant higher education experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in assessment/examination management.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in digital tools, statistical analysis, and examination systems.
