The Talent
- Qualification in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- 7-12 years' background in retail or commercial leasing, including a minimum of 3-5 years leading teams or supervising staff.
- Proven capability in leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
- In-depth understanding of retail trends, leasing practices, and various tenant segments.
- Proven capability in leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
- Highly creative and adaptable, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret leasing performance and market insights.
- Able to thrive in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Well-connected within the F&B and retail sectors, with an established industry network.
The Job
- Oversee the mall's leasing operations and guide a team of leasing executives to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
- Drive the entire leasing cycle, including strategy planning, prospecting, tenant selection, and finalizing lease agreements.
- Lead and develop the leasing team by setting KPIs, providing coaching, managing workloads, and reviewing performance.
- Formulate leasing approaches to boost rental income and ensure tenant alignment with the mall's positioning.
- Source, attract, and secure potential tenants, including conducting site tours and preparing proposals.
- Negotiate rental terms and lease conditions in accordance with company policies.
- Track market conditions, competitor activities, and tenant movement to refine leasing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and key partners to support long-term leasing stability.
- Manage renewals, relocations, expansions, and terminations to maintain an optimal tenant mix.
- Support tenants through the onboarding and store fit-out process to ensure seamless handover.
- Collaborate with marketing on tenant acquisition activities and promotions to enhance mall visibility.
- Work with operations, design, and property management teams on tenant fit-outs and space planning improvements.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on leasing performance, market insights, and progress.
