Financial Operations

·       Maintain accurate accounting records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.

·       Process payments, receipts, and reimbursements in accordance with church financial policies.

·       Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlement and proper documentation.

·       Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and monitor cash flow.

Reporting & Budgeting

·       Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for leadership review and audit purposes.

·       Support the preparation of annual budgets and ministry financial reports.

·       Track and report on income and expenditure against budgeted amounts.

·       Assist in preparing reports for the Board, Finance Committee, and external auditors.

Compliance & Governance

·       Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements (e.g., IRAS, CPF, GST where applicable).

·       Maintain proper documentation for audits, grants, and donations.

·       Liaise with external auditors, government agencies, and banking institutions when required.

Stewardship & Support

·       Support fundraising and donation processes, including receipting and donor acknowledgments.

·       Handle restricted funds and ministry budgets with integrity and accountability.

·       Contribute to process improvement and digitalization initiatives for better financial efficiency.

·       Uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.

·      To undertake other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Pastor-In-Charge from time to time
