Engineer (Aerospace MRO) - #1125864

The Engineer (Aerospace MRO) is the main technical focal point on the product assigned for supporting both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the electro-mechanical workshop;

• Review airworthiness publications (AD, CMM, SB, etc.) when new or updated, and follow up on required actions;

• Create and update maintenance worksheets, support sheets, special process procedures, test bench operating procedures, tooling evaluation forms and other technical documents required for component repairs;

• Review warranty claims and provide technical decisions;

• Insert/replace airworthiness documents (CMM, SB, maintenance worksheets, etc.) for workshop use;

• Submit technical queries to the OEM for technical clarification and out-of-scope repairs;

• Assist the workshop in improving special tools and coordinate with the vendor for tooling fabrication;

• Resolve test bench issues and ensure its availability for production use;

• Respond to technical inquiries from technicians, customer support, and other support functions;

• Support lean projects by identifying cost reduction solutions and leading the necessary sub-tasks and propose improvement solutions;

• Conduct product training for the workshop.

Job requirements:

• Degree in Engineering

• Strong knowledge of electronics is a plus

• Familiar with the aviation industry (OEM, regulations, maintenance protocols) is advantageous 

• Knowledge on technical documentation used (Service Bulletin, OEM documents, CMM, IPC, etc.) is advantageous

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• Able to interpret technical drawings

• Experience with 3D design software is advantageous.
