Job Responsibilities:
(1) Payment Processing & Receipt Updates
Monitor and record all customer payments through multiple payment modes (cash, bank transfer, cheque, PayNow, credit card, online platforms).
Ensure all receipts are updated daily and matched accurately against invoices.
Reconcile discrepancies in payment amounts and follow up for clarifications when needed.
(2) Accounts Receivable Management
Maintain and update the AR aging report regularly.
Follow up proactively with customers regarding overdue payments.
Escalate potential collection issues to management.
(3) Reconciliation & Reporting
Perform regular reconciliation of AR ledgers to ensure accounts are accurate and up to date.
Handle end-to-end accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing.
Assist in month-end closing and prepare relevant schedules/reports.
(4) Customer Service & Coordination
Handle inquiries related to billing, statements, and payment issues professionally.
Liaise closely with sales, management to resolve discrepancies and support smooth operations.
(5) Documentation & Compliance
Maintain proper documentation for all receipts, invoices, and payment records.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.
(6) Month-End Closing Support
Assist in closing activities such as AR reports, bank reconciliation support, and necessary schedules.
Ensure all receipts for the month are fully updated before closing deadlines.
(7) Admin & Support (Light Duties)
Assist with basic office administration related to finance documentation.
Support management with ad-hoc financial reports as needed.
Job Requirement :
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
Experience in trading/retail environment is an advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, or similar).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
