About the Role

The Assistant/Marketing Manager will mainly oversee and support all paid media strategy and campaigns across channels, including paid social, paid search, video, display and all other forms of digital advertising.

 This role is expected to work closely with all teams and departments inside the organization, connecting media with the rest of the business, and elevating the strategic role of media within Gain City

Key Responsibilities

● Overseeing promotional campaigns KPIs on social media, ensuring that KPIs are achieved within budget and maximizing profits

● Utilizing analytics tools/software, and critical thinking and analysis, to manage and evaluate digital marketing performance

● Tracking conversions for all campaign/events and constantly improve on enhancing conversions to leads generation or sales

● Building reports using internal data, optimizing overall lead acquisition

● Remain up to date on existing and emerging trends in social media

● Practicing social listening and developing a roadmap for growing the social followers across social channels (FB, IG & TikTok)

● Working with marketing managers and ecomm team to create and monitor a social calendar

● Monitoring and guide junior staff to answer sales & general enquiries on social and communication platforms (ie, FB, IG, Whatsapp, Telegram, Email)

Qualifications and Requirements

● Adaptability in a SME / startup environment

● Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related discipline

● 3-5 years of experience in performance marketing

● Deep knowledge of retail and digital marketing, basic knowledge of SEO will be an advantage

● A clear understanding of social media and how to translate strong campaigns across these channels

● Good communication skills in both written and spoken English

● Excellent project, time and people management skills

● Keen learner and a team player with a great sense of responsibility, proactive with a positive attitude

● Experience with marketing analytics tools (ie Google Analytics) and media networks

● Creative thinker with an eye for detail

● Able to multi-task with excellent organizational skills and meticulous in work assigned

● Able to work under a tight timeline in a fast-paced environment
