Key Responsibilities

•  Monitor and analyze market risk exposures across the agri-commodities portfolio, ensuring alignment with commercial strategies and the company’s risk appetite.

• Develop, implement, and maintain market risk frameworks, including Value at Risk (VaR), stress testing, scenario analysis, and exposure limit monitoring.

• Support daily risk reporting activities, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.

• Partner with commercial, origination, logistics, and finance teams to promote risk awareness and enhance trading performance within established risk parameters.

• Track and communicate key market developments — including geopolitical, macroeconomic, and supply-demand factors — that may influence commodity prices.

• Continuously refine risk reporting processes and contribute to automation and digital transformation initiatives within the risk management function.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in market risk, trading risk, or similar analytical roles within the commodities trading sector.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with practical experience in risk modeling tools and methodologies.

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data analysis; familiarity with Python, Power BI, or similar tools is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
