Research Assistant (Urgent) - #1124531

Our Client is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to join their dynamic team . This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact clinical research, support quality patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research Governance & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA), and relevant MOH Acts & Guidelines.

• Prepare and submit Domain Specific Review Board (DSRB) applications, including ongoing amendments.

• Maintain and file all regulatory documents, including DSRB communications, patient logs, and other essential documents.

2. Study & Registry Management

• Develop an in-depth understanding of assigned registry protocols.

• Review inclusion and exclusion criteria with the registry custodian.

• Prepare study data for doctors’ research purposes.

• Submit and present monthly reports and clinical indicators to registry custodian and reporting officer.

3. Participant Coordination & Engagement

• Explain study objectives clearly to participants and obtain informed consent.

• Monitor participants’ outcomes, track follow-up visits, and ensure timely post-operative data collection.

• Ensure each participant’s assessments are complete, accurate, and properly documented.

4. Data Management & Quality Assurance

• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency between database entries and source documents.

• Track follow-up timelines and ensure data collection falls within acceptable timeframes.

• Support continuous improvement in data quality and reliability.

5. Multidisciplinary Collaboration & Clinical Support

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clinical outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.

• Attend ward rounds, lectures, seminars, and courses where appropriate.

• Undertake additional duties assigned by the Reporting Officer or senior management.

Requirements

• Degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.

• Prior experience in clinical research, research coordination, or healthcare settings is an advantage. Candidates without prior experience may be explored for other research programmes

• Strong understanding of research ethics, GCP, and regulatory frameworks preferred.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
