Role Overview
The Microsoft 365 & Intune Administrator will be responsible for managing device lifecycle, enforcing security and compliance policies, supporting operational activities, and delivering end-user training. This role ensures smooth administration of Microsoft 365 tenant and Intune services while maintaining security standards and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Device Management
Manage device enrollment, configuration, and lifecycle.
Administer mobile device management across Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS.
Implement and monitor security and compliance policies for enrolled devices.
Oversee application deployment and patch management.
Maintain device reporting, inventory, and compliance dashboards.
2. Security & Privileged Access
Conduct bi-weekly privileged access reviews, reporting, and log analysis.
Respond to Azure AD security alerts (sign-in risks, suspicious activities).
Monitor and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC).
Manage certificate renewal for tenant services.
3. Operational Support & Ticket Management
Provide support for user-level issues (account reset, mailbox requests).
Deliver technical troubleshooting (MFA, Teams, Intune device issues).
Handle escalations and coordinate with Microsoft support.
Ensure ticket routing, ownership, and closure within defined SLA.
4. Training & Documentation
Develop training materials for end-users on M365 and Intune best practices.
Conduct periodic awareness sessions to enhance adoption and security hygiene.
Maintain runbook documentation for all processes and configurations.
5. Monitoring
24x7 monitoring and administration of Microsoft 365 tenant and Intune.
Manage user identity and credential lifecycle.
Oversee mailbox, license, and group management.
Administer policy and compliance (DLP, retention, eDiscovery).
Perform privileged access reviews.
Deliver end-user training and documentation.
Coordinate with Microsoft support for escalations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in Microsoft 365 administration and Intune device management.
Knowledge of Azure AD security, RBAC, and compliance policies.
Familiarity with DLP, retention policies, and eDiscovery.
Excellent troubleshooting skills across multiple levels (L1–L3).
Ability to create documentation and deliver training sessions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
