Lab Technician (Pre-Treatment) - #1124204

You will carry out sampling, laboratory sampling, laboratory testing and analytical work, as well as assist in feasibility studies on waste management.
 

Job Description: 

• Conduct sampling and segregation of incoming waste.

• Work closely with Logistics, Warehouse and Operations in handling incoming waste.

• Carry out sample analysis according to standard operating procedures.

• Perform data entry in LIMS or spreadsheets for results reporting purposes.

• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of laboratory records.

• Perform closure of service order in LIMS.

• Carry out calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment as per schedule or instructed.

• Ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory.

• Follow the existing system and documentation as per the procedures.

• Ensure a safe working environment in the laboratory. 

• Any other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:  

• Diploma in Chemistry / Chemical Process Technology; or GCE "O" level (Secondary School) in Science stream with at least 3 years of relevant experience in laboratory testing or hazardous waste industry. 

• Ability to accurately distinguish and interpret colours. 

• Ability to read and communicate in English.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to work on alternate Saturdays.

• Company transport is provided at Boon Lay MRT and Choa Chu Kang MRT.
