Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical, engineering, and application support for Hitachi SEM systems and other assigned equipment.

• Conduct routine and corrective servicing of scientific instruments to ensure optimal performance.

• Handle equipment setup, installation, and commissioning processes.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to instruments, including PCB boards and electronic components.

• Support and maintain failure analysis (FA) lab tools across both Malaysia and Singapore locations.

• Advise customers on suitable spare parts during servicing and repair activities.

• Responsibilities may evolve based on operational needs and management direction.

Requirements

• At least Diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.

• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant industry experience.

• Practical experience in operating and repairing scientific instruments, including PCB-level troubleshooting.

• Ability to interpret and work with schematic diagrams.

• Good team player with sharp analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with SEM/ EDX systems is an added advantage.

• Willing to attend service calls and travel internationally when required.
