About the role

ACUTE AUTOMATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled PLC & SCADA Engineer (Junior Level) to join our dynamic team in the North Region. As a PLC & SCADA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated control systems for our diverse range of industrial clients.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for our clients' industrial automation projects

• Troubleshoot and maintain existing PLC and SCADA systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and technicians, to deliver high-quality automation solutions

• Provide technical support and training to clients on the use and maintenance of PLC and SCADA systems

• Stay up-to-date with the latest PLC and SCADA technologies, trends, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience in PLC and SCADA programming and implementation

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and Structured Text

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, such as Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP

• Familiarity with SCADA software platforms, such as Wonderware, Ignition, or Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
