Summary:

You will be on the frontline of providing exceptional customer service and event management for clients and VIPs. You'll work in a lively and energetic environment, delivering delicious food and creating memorable experiences for their guests. This key role will drive revenue growth by fostering strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and high-net-worth individuals. The ideal candidate excels in the worlds of nightlife and hospitality, embodies luxury service standards, and knows how to blend exceptional sales skills with unforgettable guest experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

The Events manager is responsible, but not limited to, the following:


Event Sales & Execution

  • Attend to all incoming inquiries pertaining events including meetings, wedding, birthday parties, cocktail event, functions, social events and etc...

  • Qualifies each business opportunity based on budget, attendance.

  • Determines availability of space based on yield management principles.

  • Presents unique selling points to prospective clients to gain an advantage over the competitor.

  • Conducts site inspections, client requirement gathering and event kick offs.

  • To be a one stop shop from inquiry to successful delivery of the event.

  • To be on hand on actual day of event to assist client and ensure a flawless event.

  • To communicate all facets of the event to the operational support team – banquet operations, florist, chefs, audio-visual technicians, front office, room service etc.

  • To know competitors’ strength and weaknesses as well as their pricing and packages.

  • Actively work with all stockholders internal and external on event completion.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, guest engagement strategies, and in-outlet activations.

  • Collaborate with front and back of house to feedbacks and marker demands.

Networking & Community Building

  • Proactively target corporate clients, event planners, and agencies to sell our event spaces for product launches, annual dinners, networking events, and after-work socials.

  • Create and maintain a pipeline of repeat corporate business, turning one-time bookings into long-term partnerships.

  • Craft and deliver tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure smooth transitions and execution of a flawless event.

  • Partner with marketing to develop sales materials, event decks, and seasonal offerings that resonate with corporate clients.

  • Curate and maintain and drive targeted potential client database of corporates and organizations

  • Schedule meetings to visit and present our premises and corporate affiliations

Operational & Reporting

  • To actively report and update management on all bookings and appointments.

  • Track and report key metrics including guest interactions, sales performance, and event outcomes.

  • Provide actionable feedback to management on guest trends, opportunities for improvement, and market demands.

Qualifications/ Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 3-5 year of experience in sales, events, or VIP relations within nightlife, hospitality, or luxury food & beverage and Catering sectors.

  • Good team player, Outgoing, personable, and confident when interacting with high-profile clients and guests

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passionate, self-driven and takes initiative with proven sales ability, with a track record of converting interactions into bookings and revenue.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy nightlife environment, with flexible hours (including evenings and weekends).

  • Exceptional negotiation, pitching, and presentation skills.

  • Strong existing network of corporate decision-makers and/or high-net-worth individuals is highly advantageous.

  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on client service excellence.

Additional Information

  • Salary: $3,000 – $4,000 (Based on Experience) + Commission

  • Five (5) days’ work week
