Project Manager (Leading A1 main contractor) - JWY

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead a new Housing and Development Board (HDB) project. As the Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction management and HDB regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

• Manage and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.

• Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to ensure financial objectives are met.

• Ensure all work complies with HDB standards, local regulations, and safety requirements, maintaining high quality throughout the project lifecycle.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, government authorities, and internal teams, providing regular updates on project progress.

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues proactively.

• Create and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of the project.

• Prepare and present project reports, including status updates and performance metrics, to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in large-scale construction projects (preferably HDB projects).

• Experience of completing min 1 to 2 HDB projects from the beginning to the end.

• Familiarity with HDB guidelines, local construction laws, and safety regulations.

• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and drive project success through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
