Process Engineer - #1123692

Job Descriptions:

· Main technical window for new products and existing mass production parts.

· Involve in developing methodology for implementation of new and improved processes.

· Evaluate processes for Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) and develop implementation methodology while improving cost cost-effectiveness of the same.

· Technical training and development of the engineering team.

· Preparation of process-related technical documentations, like FMEA, validation protocol, engineering report, evaluating processing parameters and data.

· Trial new tooling and equipment and make modifications as needed to meet quality and production goals.

· Liaison with customer engineering teams, incorporate customer engineering concepts, ideas into a feasible design to fit the facility/company manufacturing process.

· Use creative skills to assist in solving design or manufacturing issues or constraints.

· Provide primary tooling component and packaging cost input for quotation of new business.

· Work closely with the internal engineering team and outside vendors in tooling, equipment, component and material development.

· Work closely with the customer on product, project or system development issues.

· Keep up on the latest industry standards, processes and procedures.

· Participate in formal improvement team activities.

· Support all development and organizational improvement initiatives to achieve business objectives.

· Perform hands-on testing such as process development and other engineering activities.

· Other tasks as assigned by supervisors/managers.

Requirements:

· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering/relevant field.

· 3 years hands-on working experience and process DOE will be a plus.

· Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing industry.

· Experience in Minitab software will be a plus.

· ISO9001 and ISO13485 awareness certification will be a plus.

· Good communication skills.

· Able to carry out technical analysis independently.

· Lead a team of technicians and provide training where required.

· Able to liaison with customer, interact with relevant persons in technical discussion.
