Technician (Electrical / Mechanical) - #1123652

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on terminal equipment, such as bucket elevators, air slides, compressors and other mechanical systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.

• Ensure that all tools and equipment are in safe and optimal working condition, making necessary repairs and adjustments as required.

• Monitor and manage the flow of cement products within the terminal inclusive of ship receiving and bulk loading to ensure efficient handling and storage.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any issues that arise.

• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation Engineering

• 1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (cement industry experience beneficial but not required)

• Entry-level welcome to apply and training will be provided

• Practical troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems

• Ability to work rotating shifts (3-shift system :7AM - 3PM; 3PM - 11PM; 11PM - 3AM)

• Forklift license or welder certification is advantageous

• Salary will be commensurate based on experience and qualification
