Head of Project Operations (Warehouse automation)

Job Summary
Lead and manage large-scale warehouse automation projects, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and delivery across multiple sites. Oversee integration of robotics, conveyors, and warehouse management systems to achieve operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end execution of automation projects from design to commissioning.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams in engineering, software, and field operations.

• Standardize project delivery processes for efficiency and quality improvement.

• Act as main client contact for project updates, timelines, and issue resolution.

• Manage project resources, subcontractors, and logistics across multiple locations.

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Track performance metrics to enhance project outcomes.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead a 15-member team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, Automation, or Supply Chain.

• 10+ years in project operations, including 5+ years in warehouse automation.

• Strong background in robotics, PLCs, WMS/WCS, and material handling systems.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Willingness to travel for site management and project execution.
