Coordinate with respective engineers and conduct root cause analysis meetings, propose appropriate preventive and corrective actions where required, as well as, review existing PM based on equipment performance monitoring observations to achieve optimized maintenance that result in increased reliability and availability.
Your role:
1. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of process plant forced outages and near misses
• Review and make improvements on analysis of circumstances in accordance with established root cause analysis
• Conduct, review and evaluate root cause findings and propose solutions
• Provide support to all reliability processes and engineering programs and monitor all Plant issues
2. Condition Monitoring (CM)
• Coach and ensure safe and proper techniques to monitor equipment well-being
• Recommend and provide cost justification for the preventive and corrective actions that would improve the quality and speed of plant maintenance work
3. Maintenance Strategies
• Undertake studies and guide the team (with Maintenance team) and recommend on various maintenance strategies like BM, PM and PdM and how each can be used to improve plant reliability
4. Preventive Maintenance Evaluation
• Review information on condition of equipment to supplement evaluation and optimization of existing PM
5. Analyse historical data & provide Action Plans to improve Plant Reliability
• Use FMEA to analyse Plant Equipment defects, prioritize and propose corrective actions
• Engage and coordinate with consultants for expertise knowledge and recommend solutions etc
6. Input RCA recommendation into CMMS
• Proper tracking on implementation status of the recommend corrective and preventive action to ensure compliance and closure
Your Profile:
• Degree in recognized university in Electrical or Mechanical or Process Engineering or related discipline, with 4 – 8 years’ experience (1 year in management) in both operation and maintenance environment and disciplines preferably in power plant or chemical industry
• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Process Engineering or related discipline, with 9 – 13 years’ experience (3 years in management) in both operation and maintenance environment and disciplines preferably in power plant or chemical industry
• Understand the overall maintenance and engineering practices in a power station
• Prior exposure in maintenance troubleshooting/fact-finding
• Good knowledge in CMMS software for maintenance environment
• Communication skills (spoken and written) for internal and external stakeholders management
• Strong in presentation skills
• Project management skills
• Analytical capabilities to analyze trends and patterns. Experience in using FMEA for identifying Plant Vulnerability will be advantageous.

• Ability to work in teams and work under pressure
