Junior Sleep Technologist - #1122990

Job Scope:

• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth delivery of patient services.

• Perform Lung Function Tests and Sleep Monitoring Studies according to established standards.

• Schedule and manage patient appointments and admissions for tests and studies.

• Handle patient admission and discharge processes in SAP before and after studies.

• Calibrate, check, and maintain equipment and emergency trolleys to ensure functionality.

• Educate patients and family members on test procedures and the use of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices.

• Assist patients with CPAP loan and purchase arrangements through suppliers.

• Edit, analyze, and compile test data and reports for physician verification.

• Ensure timely dispatch and proper filing of patient reports.

• Monitor stock levels of consumables and ensure adequate replenishment.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper use of laboratory equipment.

• Attend to patient enquiries and feedback, providing appropriate service recovery when necessary.

• Manage telephone enquiries and trace results when required.

• Participate in service quality improvement activities.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science / Biomedical Science / Biotechnology or equivalent 

• Preferably 1-2 years of related work experience in clinical service.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
