Sales Manager (Proactive/Reactive)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned sales leads, ensuring timely response and strong conversion, particularly for corporate and group business.
Generate new leads and proactively acquire accounts across market segments to achieve group, FIT, and revenue goals.
Achieve sales targets and performance goals as set by management.
Conduct sales activities including client follow-ups, site inspections, and account management.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Collaborate closely with the Conference & Events Services team to ensure smooth execution of events and effective client communication.
Monitor forecasts, production, and valley periods, taking proactive measures to drive revenue.
Prepare weekly sales reports and updates on activities, maintaining timely and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in the development and execution of the hotel’s sales and marketing plans, including measurable sales action plans.
Maximize the use of resources to penetrate new accounts, enhance conversion, and expand market reach.
Work closely with Accor Sales Offices and maintain open communication with other departments to align on bookings and sales initiatives.
Support sales-related projects and initiatives as assigned by the Director of Sales or Senior Director of Sales.
Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, safety, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Proven track record in hotel sales, with strong proactive and reactive sales experience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Strong understanding of Opera (or similar PMS) for managing bookings and business blocks.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Results-driven, adaptable, and resourceful with strong market knowledge.
