Process Engineer (Semiconductor, Die Sort/Bond, Electronic) SP9 - #1122600

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and maintain process requirements and equipment specifications.

• Perform process characterization and optimize machine performance to meet design and quality standards.

• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to review and improve internal buy-off specifications.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment capability and reliability.

• Support equipment manufacturing and assembly teams by troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.

• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to address process challenges and provide effective technical solutions.

• Conduct data analysis using statistical tools such as SPC and DOE; perform process capability and stability studies.

• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to in-house engineers and technicians to ensure optimal equipment operation.

• Calculate UPH (Units Per Hour) projections and analyze cycle time based on process parameters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Production, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an equipment manufacturing environment (preferably in semiconductor machinery).

• Strong background in process design, control, and optimization; experience in die-sorting, vision inspection, or laser marking is a plus.

• Proficient in SPC, DOE, and other statistical analysis methodologies.

• Knowledge of cycle time calculation and materials science will be an added advantage.

• Demonstrated passion for developing innovative manufacturing processes and equipment applications.
