Project Costing Accountant - #1122585

Our client is a leading player in the building materials industry. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Project Costing Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor project costing, budgeting, and financial reporting across multiple projects.

• Prepare cost analysis reports and variance analysis to support project and management decisions.

• Track and reconcile project expenditures, progress claims, and billings.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and control.

• Support monthly closing activities, including accruals and project revenue recognition.

• Assist in forecasting, cash flow management, and cost optimization initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in project costing, preferably within the building materials, construction, or manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and project financial management.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.

• Meticulous, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
