Chemical Process Technician @ Taiseng // UP TO $3500!! 5 days work week - #1122580

Working Hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

Working Location: Tai Seng Exchange, Singapore

Role Summary:

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on individual to join our pilot plant team as a Chemical Process Supervisor. This hybrid role involves both operating equipment and supervising daily plant activities. You’ll play a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and smooth operations while mentoring team members and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor feedstock preparation systems (e.g., grinders, compressors, filters).

• Use material testing tools such as TGA and tensile testers.

• Conduct routine maintenance on plant equipment including pumps, valves, mixers, and tanks.

• Manage chemical receiving, unloading, and storage in line with SOPs.

• Support fibre processing and wetlaid line operations, including batch documentation.

• Maintain accurate operational records and logbooks.

• Enforce safety protocols for chemical handling, waste disposal, and equipment cleaning.

• Operate support equipment like wrapping machines and hoists for dispatch.

• Lead and mentor plant operators and lab technicians.

• Coordinate team tasks, oversee production batches, and contribute to process optimization.

Qualifications:

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in Chemical Process Technology, or ‘O’ Level with WSQ Certification in Chemical Process Operations and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), or equivalent.

• Hands-on experience with chemical lab and plant equipment (e.g., mixers, pumps, valves).
