Infrastructure Engineer(L1 support) - 12 Months Contract - #1122541

Morgan McKinley is hiring for a Infrastructure Engineer for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 support for network connectivity issues, login problems, Windows Active Directory, and in-house applications such as Office 365.

• Escalate complex tickets to Level 2 support and collaborate to facilitate resolution.

• Manage endpoint devices, including maintaining hardware and software inventories for Windows and Mac OS systems, as well as small office routers for private networks.

• Conduct health checks and monitor the performance of Windows Server environments.

• Coordinate with end users to apply security patches and updates on endpoint devices to ensure optimal security and performance.

• Install authorized software on user devices as requested.

• Handle service requests and incident management to meet defined KPIs and ensure timely resolution.

• Support ad hoc tasks and projects initiated by the company, such as emergency software patches, laptop audits, or other IT initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in network and system administration

• Proven expertise in troubleshooting wireless networks, specifically Aruba wireless solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Windows PC troubleshooting and support.

• Knowledge of Windows patch management and antivirus administration, particularly with Symantec solutions.
