Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer - #1122531

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil & Structural (C&S) Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in structural design and engineering management, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in power plant, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee C&S design activities for power generation and industrial projects.

• Prepare and review structural calculations, design drawings, and specifications in compliance with local and international codes.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and project management units to ensure design integration and constructability.

• Review and approve structural deliverables from design institutes, consultants, and subcontractors.

• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to junior engineers and designers.

• Support tendering, project planning, and on-site engineering activities when required.

• Liaise with clients, authorities, and external consultants to ensure design compliance and approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in C&S design, preferably within the power plant, industrial, or energy infrastructure sectors.

• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (Eurocode, BS, ACI, etc.).

• Proficient in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar tools.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
