Position Overview

The Veterinary Assistant will support the farm’s veterinary and operations teams in maintaining flock health, biosecurity, and production efficiency. Responsibilities include assisting the veterinarian, coordinating farm activities and workers, managing data, and participating in hands-on farm operations.

The role also supports compliance with the Farm Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and SS-GAHP by assisting the Food Safety Leader and Farm Coordinator in maintaining documentation, monitoring standards, and facilitating audits and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Agriculture, or related field preferred.

• Prior experience in poultry or livestock farms operation is an advantage.

• Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

• Proficient in data entry and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, farm management software).

• Physically fit and able to perform labour-intensive tasks when required.

• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays based on operational needs.
