Responsibilities:

• Mentor and lead the assembly engineering team for laser/fiber processes.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma.

• Manage projects to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets.

• Oversee daily operations, task planning, and process readiness.

• Lead RFQ management, FAT/FLP/FAI execution, and customer communications.

• Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure manufacturable, high-quality product designs.

• Implement process controls, problem-solving (8D, DOE, FMEA), and yield improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 7 years’ experience in optical, laser, or fiber manufacturing.

• Proven leadership in NPI, DFM, and process development.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ERP (SAP).

• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and structured problem-solving.

• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100 standards.
