Mechanical Engineer (ACMV Systems) - #1122204

Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical services operations and maintenance programs, including systems such as Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, MV, Cooling Towers, and Autotube.

• Ensure all maintenance and repair works are carried out safely and in accordance with safety work procedures.

• Verify that all systems comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Provide technical guidance and support to Technical Officers and Technicians on ACMV system activities.

• Review, update, and maintain ACMV system drawings, documentation, and reports.

• Manage and lead a team of Technical Officers and Technicians in responding to breakdown calls and system faults.

• Conduct root cause analysis, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective actions.

• Perform engineering analysis to identify and improve poorly performing equipment.

• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs in line with corporate and legislative standards.

• Conduct regular system inspections and review service reports to ensure system serviceability.

• Develop duty rosters and schedules for Technical Officers and Technicians.

• Support the development, maintenance, and testing of SOPs and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).

• Lead technical investigations and troubleshooting for rectification works.

• Participate in client site walkabouts and provide technical advice where necessary.

• Provide training and mentorship to Technical Officers and Technicians.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proactive and able to prioritize tasks effectively to achieve desired outcomes.

• Independent and well-versed in critical workflow processes.

• Willing to be based on-site at the customer’s premises.

• Able to commit to a 5.5-day work week with staggered rest days due to operational needs.

• Salary: Basic $3,600 – $4,200

• Work Week: 5.5 days (staggered rest days)
