Facilities Technical Officer - #1122177

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules and operational needs.

• Respond promptly to fault calls and service requests, diagnose issues, and coordinate rectification with contractors or vendors.

• Supervise and monitor third-party service providers to ensure maintenance works meet safety, quality, and contractual standards.

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify defects, non-compliances, and potential risks.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory requirements, including WSH, fire safety, and building regulations.

• Maintain accurate technical records, including maintenance logs, equipment history, permits, and spare parts inventory.

• Assist in preparing reports, work orders, and documentation for audits or client reviews.

• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance system reliability, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with other departments such as cleaning, security, and operations to ensure a safe and well-maintained facility.

• Attend to facility user feedback and complaints professionally to ensure high service standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.

• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance or building services operations.

• Hands-on experience in fault response, building services, and equipment troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of WSH, fire safety, and building maintenance regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with facility management systems.

• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.

• Salary: Basic $2,500 – $2,800

• Work Week: 5.5 days
