Process Engineer (Thermal spray coating)

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support the design, improvement, and execution of manufacturing processes. In this role, you will develop process strategies, allocate process-related resources, enhance existing workflows, maintain technical process documents, and create SOPs and work instructions for shop floor activities. Your key objective is to improve production efficiency while reducing operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and introduce new coating processes, as well as adapt existing coating technologies to new products.

• Prepare and maintain process documentation including technical plans, work instructions, SOPs, and TPM procedures.

• Provide technical support to production teams to enhance productivity, quality, and yield.

• Establish and maintain accurate records for process validation, tooling, fixtures, and procedures.

• Transfer approved processes to manufacturing and conduct necessary training.

• Perform process and equipment risk assessments.

• Execute other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering with at least 2 years of experience, or a diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Hands-on experience with thermal spray coating processes.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MATLAB, and C++ programming.

• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Capable of managing projects effectively.
