Senior Infrastructure & Systems Engineer [Mission-Critical Environment] - #1122043

IDEMIA is a global leader in identity technologies, serving governments and enterprises worldwide. In our Public Security division, we deliver mission-critical solutions in biometrics, secure systems, and large-scale infrastructure for transportation and border management.

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to join our Air Domain team. This role will take the lead in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-availability infrastructure in a mission-critical operational environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless, secure, and resilient IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions for large-scale, high-security environments.

• Map system relationships and identify dependencies affecting performance, integration, and security.

• Lead small technical teams in project execution, from requirement gathering to deployment and post-support.

• Manage vendors, review technical proposals, and ensure solutions meet operational requirements and compliance standards.

• Provide escalation support for complex infrastructure and network issues.

• Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and technology refreshes with minimal operational disruption.

• Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to architecture and cybersecurity standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or network engineering roles.

• Solid knowledge of IT systems, networks, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

• Experience with system integration, deployment, or enterprise-level infrastructure projects.

• Familiar with cybersecurity principles, compliance requirements, and documentation standards.

• Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.

• Experience leading small technical teams or workstreams is preferred.
