We are looking for a Handfinisher (Deburring/Polishing Technician) to join our Aerospace team in Joo Koon, Singapore.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform Deburring & Polishing or Hand finishing works before and after Machining in accordance to Manufacturing Operations & Tooling (M.O.T).

• Expected to be able to interpret basic Technical Work Manuals & Drawings Instructions.

• Ensure that Deburring work carried out meets the required Quality as stated in the respective Manuals and Technical Documents such as M.O.T.

• May be required to operate any one or a combination of the following Equipment including Sand Blasting, Lapping, Drilling, Tumbling, Cleaning (Vapor Degreaser) etc.

• Initiate & implement Continuous Improvement activities (Kaizen) to improve Productivity & Quality.

MUST HAVE:

• Minimum 'N'/'O' level with 2 years experience in polishing, deburring or handfinishing preferably in the Aviation Industry or Mechanical trade.

• Able to read and communicate in English.  

• Able to work overtime.

• Able to work on Morning Shifts (7am – 4:18pm).

• Experience in using Hand Tools such as: Handheld Tools, Engraving Pen, Polishing Equipment, etc.

• Basic Computer knowledge & skills.

• Understanding of 5S and TPM concepts

• Experience with and understanding of Six Sigma and Lean tools

• Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

• Diligent, hardworking, and able to work in a fast pace working environment

• Ability to communicate information clearly
